As an organisation, we purely exist to serve the community. Over our 50-year heritage, we have embedded ourselves in the community supporting several local and national charities and liaising with local educational establishments to support students into employment by providing career mentoring including mock interviews, CV advice, work experience etc. In 2022 we established a strategic partnership with NSPCC and in 2024 a total of £100,000 had been donated to the charity through charitable activities and a proportion of funds from sales of our YPO branded products being donated.

We will aim to –
• Organise two corporate volunteering days per year
• Ensure staff have access to a variety of volunteering opportunities
• Proactively look for events held by VCSEs YPO can donate to
• Update our reporting process to ensure we are capturing all donations
• Work with our IT department to increase technology donations

Achieved so far –
• Staff volunteering policy launched January 2024
• In 2024 over £19k worth of stock donated to VCSEs and educational settings
