Joining forces with the NSPCC to create safer childhoods

We are proud to call the NSPCC, the UK’s leading child protection charity, YPO’s charity partner - supporting its mission to protect children and help young people rebuild their lives.

With more than 50 years’ experience supporting the education sector, local authorities, emergency services, nurseries and charities, we understand the vital importance of safeguarding children.

When you buy YPO branded products, we donate to the NSPCC

Since 2022, we have raised more than £170,000 for the NSPCC through staff fundraising, events and initiatives, alongside donations from YPO funds generated through sales of YPO-branded products. This reflects our shared commitment to supporting the charity’s pivotal work protecting children - a mission it has led for more than 140 years.

YPO hits the road to spread kindness

As part of our long-standing partnership with the NSPCC, YPO supported its Kindness Challenge, a week dedicated to spreading kindness across school communities, by donating £1,500 worth of classroom stationery.

Using our co-branded van, we brought a 'pick and mix' stationery shop directly to schools, giving children the opportunity to choose essential classroom items such as glue sticks, exercise books and pens for their classes.

Building on the success of this initiative, we'll support the NSPCC Kindness Challenge again in October 2026, helping to inspire even more acts of kindness in school communities by donating more stationery items to schools while raising vital funds for Childline.

As an adult, if you’re worried about a child, the NSPCC Helpline can offer support and guidance.

You don’t need to wait for an emergency. Child protection specialists can listen, advise and take action where needed.

Children can talk to a counsellor over the phone, via email, or using the 1-2-1 chat, available 24/7. As a leading educational supplier, we want all young people to have the support they need, whenever they need it.

Childline is an NSPCC service that is always there to give children a voice when no one else is listening. From bullying and mental health concerns to troubles at home, there are many reasons why young people may need to contact Childline, whose counsellors are there for young people every day of the year. Whatever they are going through, counsellors are there to listen and help.

Whatever worries or concerns young people face, Childline gives them somewhere to turn for support when they need it. Children and young people under 19 can contact Childline free on 0800 1111, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
