Category Buyer - Emergency Services & Blue Light
Sarah joined YPO in 1998. Sarah began her career in the food warehouse as a clerical officer before moving into the transport department where she provided administrative support to the planning and distribution team. Sarah moved from the operational side of the company in 2014 into procurement where she progressed to assistant category buyer for food, leading on to her most recent role as assistant category buyer for emergency services and blue light. Sarah has recently been promoted to category buyer and has started her final year of study towards her MCIPS qualification.

After working for 15 years across a wide range of business areas within private sector retail and the financial services industry, Laura joined YPO in June 2017. Her Risk & Insurance Officer role at YPO has given her an excellent understanding of the business, its values and how it works with the wider public sector. This experience – alongside her customer service, stock distribution, compliance and risk management background – will assist her in her new role as the assistant category buyer within the Emergency Services & Blue Light team.
