*YPO partners with leading UK charity to protect children*
YPO, one of the UK’s largest public sector buying organisations and education suppliers, is proud to announce an exclusive partnership with the NSPCC. Throughout a three-year partnership, YPO will be supporting the UK’s leading child protection charity with its invaluable work to change children’s lives for the better.
The NSPCC has worked at the heart of keeping children safe for over 130 years. Their vital work ranges from delivering therapeutic services, working with schools, conducting ground-breaking research, campaigning for change, and running national helplines – including Childline for children and the NSPCC Helpline for concerned adults. Half a million children suffer abuse in the UK every year which is why it’s vital that the NSPCC can remain there for children and their families.
As part of the partnership, YPO will be helping to amplify the NSPCC’s message - including by raising awareness of their vital campaigns, advice and resources in their various publications, such as Little Learners magazine. YPO will also be donating a minimum of £20,000 of all profits made on its annual YPO brand sales. The YPO team will also embark on an employee engagement mission, by fundraising and raising awareness of the NSPCC’s vital work.
Prior to this year’s official partnership, YPO has supported the NSPCC since the COVID-19 pandemic. This has included gifting electronic resources to help the NSPCC handle the demand on its services due to home working, and making donations in the sum of £430 through wellbeing events, staff fundraising and the Best Companies UK Employee Engagement Survey.
As part of its agreement with YPO for use of car park facilities during peak periods, Morrisons, located next to the YPO at Junction 41 Industrial Park, Wakefield, donated £3,000 to the NSPCC as YPO’s charity of choice.
