We’re pleased to announce that following a collaborative procurement exercise with ESPO, TEC and West Mercia Energy we’ve awarded the new Water, Wastewater and Ancillary Services framework to Wave. The new framework goes live on 1 November 2020 and covers all aspects of water supply and management for public sector organisations.
The framework provides public sector customers access to a direct-award - a simplified and fast switching route to market, with defined quality standards supported by robust KPIs and by the combined specialist procurement and sectoral knowledge of the four PSBO partners. Customers will further benefit from key account management, competitive pricing, built-in water efficiency savings and social and environmental value support.
YPO’s energy category manager Rob Clark said: “This framework will give public sector organisations access to a water partner, providing excellent standards of service, competitive pricing and access to water efficiency measures to really deliver benefit and value.
“Wave has demonstrated a strong track record in the public sector, and through our tender process clearly understand the challenges the public sector faces and how they can add value and bring positive change. The English water retail market is now three years old and some public sector customers still struggle with unacceptable standards of service, so we created a framework that placed quality right at the heart of everything that will be delivered for public sector organisations. I’d like to thank all of the water retailers that submitted tenders for their full engagement in the process.”
Wave’s director of public sector customers, Tony March said: “We’re delighted to have been awarded onto the framework. We’ll build on the relationships we have made over the last three years with YPO and the public sector customer we currently serve to provide an excellent service which delivers value. We’re looking forward to working with YPO, ESPO, TEC and West Mercia Energy to deliver great quality services to support public sector customers, develop new and exciting initiatives and add more social and financial value to their contracts.”
