Just when you thought the Kentucky mop head couldn’t get any better, Robert Scott introduce the Stayflat! Using a central band to keep yarn flat on the floor, each stroke of this mop covers an impressive surface area, picking up every speck of dirt along the way with its high-quality looped end yarn. Manufactured by the number one janitorial brand in the UK, it is no surprise the Stayflat Kentucky Mop Head is a popular choice amongst leading restaurants, supermarkets and healthcare providers.

Efficiency
With the use of looped end yarn, the mop is highly effective in capturing dirt and grime, keeping it trapped within the loops where others would simply smear excess dirt with each stroke. In water however, dirt will easily release, and the easy-wringing fibres will allow cleaners to continue on efficiently with the job.

Mopping will never again be painstaking task with the Stayflat mop head, with even large quantities of tougher substances like grease and oil holding well before a rinse is required. This is not only a result of the looped end design – which also reduces tangling and linting when in use – but the highly absorbent 100% cotton multi-fold yarn.

Quality Yarn
Only the finest quality cotton is used to ensure maximum absorption and a long-life span, and without the environmental impact of synthetic fibres that alternatives incorporate for the same benefits. Cotton is also much softer to reduce the risk of scratching, and is counterbalanced with multi-fold yarn for durability with heavy use.

Stayflat vs Standard Kentucky Mops
Stayflat mop heads incorporate a polyester band that enables the mop’s long yarn to maintain its shape, and keep flat on the floor when in use. This allows the user to cover a larger surface area with each stroke, making it perfect for large areas such as schools, gyms, kitchens, shopping centres and shop floors. Busy staff will complete their work in a fraction of the time with much less stress, and are sure to fall in love with the Stayflat mop as a result.

The stayflat band on this particular mop is natural in colour, allowing it to be used with any colour handle in establishments following colour coding recommendations. Do you struggle to find the right colour mop head for your handle? Is your cupboard full of blue mop heads when all you need is a yellow? As a pack of 3 with natural coloured bands, staff will never again face these issues and can adapt their stock to their needs at all times.

Compatibility
Stayflat Kentucky Mop Heads must be paired with the Hygiene Handle and Kentucky Fitting, which are available together in Blue, Red and Yellow. Each handle uses strong and lightweight aluminium, whereas the plastic fittings won’t rust compared to overpriced metal alternatives. Kentucky mops should be used with buckets that use a handle-operated wringer.
