Unleash your creativity using the Scolaclay Air Drying Modelling Clay Light Stone - 1kg. This modelling clay is an excellent medium that encourages children of all ages to explore their artistic abilities, making it ideal for use in schools and art classes.

The Scolaclay modelling clay is incredibly versatile, it's designed to be suitable for both air drying at room temperature as well as being fired in a kiln. Its formula minimises the risk of shrinkage as it dries, while the addition of nylon fibres provides extra strength to the finished creation.

This light stone clay can be shaped into anything your heart desires such as an animal, a friend or an ornament. You can create using your hands as well as modelling tools to create your preferred design. Once your project has dried (which takes a minimum of 24 hours depending on thickness) it can be decorated with various paints and coated with PVA glue for a glossy, professional looking finish.

If you're looking to change your work there's no need to worry, simply remoisten the clay with a damp cloth overnight and continue refining your sculpture. This feature makes Scolaclay ideal for learning through experimentation.

Sculpting with this air drying clay offers endless opportunities in art lessons, helping children develop motor skills while grasping concepts such as hard and soft textures.
