Bring joy to the classroom this Christmas with these cute robin tree decorations! The perfect Christmas craft activity, children will not only get to be creative and have fun with their peers, but also be able to spread Christmas cheer to their loved ones when taken home.

Simple Classroom Fun
This simple folding activity is suitable for children of all ages and abilities who will find it easy to fold, construct and decorate the robins using the instructions provided, bringing out their creativity whilst teaching important skills such as 2D and 3D conceptualization.

Firstly, the pre-cut body is folded into the correct 3D shape and slotted into place without the need for messy glue. Each robin body has pop-out, foldable wings, beaks and tails to give the robins different attitudes, personalities and poses, as well as a hole in the top to attach the provided metallic ribbon for hanging around the home or on your Christmas tree. Once the body is complete, all that remains is decorating!

A Bespoke Creation
Also included with the brown card bodies is an assortment of festive patterned sheets for children to cut shapes from and stick on the robin, completing the design as shown. Next, draw and cut out some eyes to stick on, and add some finishing touches with resources in your repertoire. Try using glitter to heighten that festive effect, or cotton wool, pipecleaners, sequins and stickers for a more unique look that makes your robin stand out! Decorating the robins in this way helps encourage children’s imagination, self-expression, and experimentation with different mediums.

Due to their shape, the robins will also stand up for use as a table decoration to make Christmas dinners even more fun! However you decide to display them, these adorable robins are sure to put a smile on every face this season.
