Corona Energy have been awarded a renewal of their contract as YPO’s gas framework provider until 2029.
The new Gas Framework 1187 term will run from 1 April 2025 until 31 March 2029, with an option of a further two extensions of two years each.
It continues a successful partnership that has delivered value for the public sector since the contract was first awarded in 2016.
YPO offers more than 100 public sector framework contracts, which are agreements designed to help public sector buyers procure goods and services from a list of pre-approved suppliers.
Buying gas on a large consortium basis gives organisations access to wholesale prices and the ability to optimise trading. The continuation of the partnership between YPO and Corona supports our pledge to deliver cost effective, reliable and high-quality procurement services to public sector customers.
Corona Energy is a leading independent energy supplier to UK businesses, supplying gas and electricity to commercial, industrial and public sector clients across the country.
They bring a wealth of industry knowledge, access to a dedicated Account Manager and service team, meaning YPO customers will receive invaluable market insight, efficient query resolution and budgetary support.
The MyCorona portal will provide customers with access to bills and consumption data to support net zero targets, while providing a deeper understanding of usage.
