What do you like most about working at YPO?
I love how YPO cares about its customers and employees. Also, I like how everyone in YPO is like a big family and always willing to help others, putting customers at the heart of everything we do.
What are your main responsibilities in the education procurement team?
As procurement project support, I’m the first point of contact for customers when they’re needing our help. I recognise customers’ requirements, take ownership of their queries, and provide information on relevant YPO solutions and how customers can use frameworks and DPSs to put a contract in place.
Day to day I manage CRM system updates and provide administrative resource to support tendering and procurement template guidance. I also collate project and sales reports for the team, as well as reports of school spend with YPO for internal and external use.
What’s the most rewarding part of your job?
Being thanked and appreciated by our customers. It’s nice to know that they’re really appreciative of the work we do for them.
Describe your role in three words: Challenging, exciting, diverse
How did you get involved in procurement?
I’ve previously completed quotes for customers, but this is my first time in the deep end of the procurement pool and so far, I love it!
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I love spending time with my family and friends, especially my nieces, nephews, and my Lhasa Apso, Poppy.
