How long have you been working at YPO: Just over 2 years, since August 2019
What do you like most about working at YPO?
As an apprentice I was able to work in different departments throughout my first and second/last year which allowed me to gain a lot of different skills and knowledge. YPO also provides a range of progression opportunities, both for inside the business and within the public sector.
What are your main responsibilities?
My main responsibilities are to both conduct and publish further competitions for the energy team, I also provide my team with administrative and customer support and directly contact customers to help give guidance and help with progression in their further competitions.
What is the most challenging part of your job?
As I came from a HR and finance background, both energy and procurement are very new for me. Due to them being complex areas, it requires a lot of patience and learning.

Challenging, Attentive, Rewarding
How did you get involved in procurement?
I wanted to progress both within YPO and working in the public sector as well as try something new after my Business Admin apprenticeship. Procurement was something completely opposite to this, I wanted to give it a go.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
In my spare time I enjoy walking and spending time with my two dogs, Cleo and Peach. I also enjoy playing video games and watching my favourite TV show, The Office USA.. which I am currently re-watching for the 5th time!
