egg marbling

Let your children experiment with marbling inks with these lovely Easter themed activities.

Marbling eggs

You will need:

Method:
Fill your marbling trough about 2/3 full of cold water. Add a few drops of marbling ink with a pipette and stir with a marbling comb. Add more colours, stirring after each until you’re happy.

Use the mounting sticks to hold the eggs and dip them into the water. Children will love swishing and moving them around until they are coloured in different inks.
Allow to dry before using them for displays or gifts!

Shaving foam marbling eggs

Great for younger learners, this method still gives lovely results

You will need:

Method:
Fill a tray with shaving foam and add a few drops of different food colouring.

Using the lollipop sticks, swirl the colours around in the shaving foam.

Pick up one of your eggs (wearing gloves) and roll in in the shaving foam.

Allow to dry before using them for displays or gifts!
