Fill your classroom with Christmas sparkle this season! From paper baubles to Christmas tree art, these easy seasonal crafts are perfect for making personalised Christmas decorations, for home or the classroom.
Paper Christmas Baubles
Create reusable paper Christmas baubles with this eco-friendly Christmas craft. Pupils can each choose their favourite colours for a personal touch.

What you need:
How to make:
- Pick two pieces of different coloured card.
- Cut each card along the long side to make 3 long strips, each 1 inch wide.
- Order the strips on the table so that the colours alternate.
- Cut 5 inch off the first strip, 4 inch off the second, 3 inch off the third, 2 inch off the fourth, 1 inch off the fifth and leave the sixth strip the same length.
- Place the strips on top of each other in length order, longest at the back and shortest at the front.
- Line up one side and tape the ends together.
- One by one, curl the shortest strip into a circle and tape down. Repeat until complete.
- Tie the ribbon around the bauble at the top.
Merry Christmas Garland
Explore painting without a paintbrush with this fun and simple Merry Christmas Garland craft.

What you need:
How to make:
- Make multiple 2cm vertical cuts around the top of the paper cup.
- Fold the cuts on the paper cup backwards.
- Dip the top of the paper cup into green paint and stamp onto white card.
- Repeat in a circle until you get a wreath shape.
- Use a cotton bud to dot on red paint as berries.
- Stick the Christmas bow onto the top of the wreath.
Christmas Tree Painting
Looking for unique Christmas painting ideas? Repurpose a plastic fork to create a simple but effective Christmas tree painting, which can be personalised through decoration.

What you need:
How to make:
- Fold a piece of card in half to make a Christmas card template.
- Dip the plastic fork in green paint.
- Position the fork in the centre of the top of the card.
- Make a short down and outwards mark. Mirror on the opposite side.
- Below the previous set of marks, add another set slightly longer than the last. Repeat until it looks like a Christmas tree.
- Optional: Add a few downwards strokes to add depth to your Christmas tree.
- Use your cotton bud to paint a brown stump, yellow star, coloured baubles, and coloured lights on the tree.
- Write ‘Merry Christmas’ inside your card in felt tip.
