Sport England highlighted the issue of inactivity amongst children, with only 47% meeting the Chief Medical Officers' guidelines of engaging in 60 minutes or more of sport and physical activity daily. Even more concerning, 1 in 3 are active for less than 30 minutes per day, and over 600,000 children in England report doing no activity at all in the previous 7 days.
