This Framework is for the provision of legal advice, advocacy, representation and services in the law of England and Wales within the scope of “exempt legal services” as set out in Schedule 2, paragraph 14 (2) of the Procurement Act 2023.
Coverage of other jurisdictions is not a mandatory requirement for Providers, however, should advice regarding other territories be required by a Contracting Authority, this may be provided by Providers who are:
- qualified and practising barristers holding the necessary qualifications and certifications.
- appropriately authorised to act in such jurisdictions so long as the services fall within the definition of exempt legal services.
