New provisions under this iteration of the framework agreement include period dignity products, male incontinence products and alternative waste treatment methods (alternatives to sending waste collection to landfill).

Ease of use - customers need only to identify their requirements, present these to the market and award a contract. Assured Supplier Standards - suppliers are pre-qualified as to their general suitability giving customers a confidence in the quality of service/products they can provide. Aggregation of spend - customers will receive the benefits of an aggregated volume of spend and the benefits associated with an increased leverage in the market. Pre-defined terms and conditions - all providers have signed and accepted this agreement and terms and conditions of call off.
