Brownlee Foundation Partnership

We've partnered with the Brownlee Foundation, supporting free sport events that promote being active and healthy lifestyles for school children from all backgrounds.

Throughout 2025, the Brownlee Foundation held 15 free school events, helping over 15000 children to live a healthy and active lifestyle. YPO provided 17,000 kit bags to be handed out to participating students to support their continued engagement in sport and physical activity.

A special flagship event in partnership with YPO was held at Silcoates school in Wakefield, which saw YPO staff along with Alistair Brownlee, volunteer to support the event, encouraging and motivating the young aspiring athletes.

The Brownlee Foundation visited Wakefield, teaming up with YPO to host a special flagship event in West Yorkshire. Over a thousand schoolchildren, swam, cycled and ran as part of the Wakefield event, which brings mini non-competitive triathlon events to Primary Schools.

YPO and Brownlee boost children's activity

Thousands of schoolchildren will be helped on the road to an active, healthy lifestyle this year, as YPO continues its partnership with the Brownlee Foundation. Founded by Team GB Olympic triathletes Alistair and Johnny Brownlee, the Brownlee Foundation organises mini-triathlon events for KS2 primary school children.
