The STAEDTLER 430 fits this criteria nicely, but with the added benefit of leading brand quality.

Ballpoint Stick Pens
Ballpoint stick pens are affordable, reliable and very long lasting, making them useful for a variety of applications from completing school work, taking notes in meetings, or completing crosswords on a plane.

The ink of a ballpoint pen flows onto the page through a metal ball and socket mechanism, which allows the user to draw long, smooth, controlled lines with ease. With its regulated ink flow, blobbing and scratching is also avoided with the STEADTLER 430. The medium 1.0 mm tip generates a line width of 0.35 mm so you can write precise, legible text that doesn’t take up too much space – perfect for notetaking.

Quality Ink
Like other stick pens, these pens use an oil-based ink which is more viscous and sticky than water-based inks. This means the ink will dry fast, not smudge as easily, and is less likely to bleed through paper, which is extremely beneficial when writing in exercise books or double-sided documents, or just working at a fast pace. On the other hand, these particular pens are still suitable for carbon copies.

Another unique feature compared to other ballpoint stick pens is the 430’s automatic pressure equalization. This makes your pen aeroplane-safe by preventing leakage onboard aircraft, making it the perfect partner for those travelling for work or leisure.
