Berol Handwriting Pens are designed specifically to help schoolchildren learn how to handwrite for life. With bold ink, a tough plastic nib, and 0.7mm line width, children will effortlessly pick up the handwriting skills they need to create neat and legible joined up text.

Medium Tip
As a medium tip pen, the Berol Handwriting Pen carefully balances precision with clarity. The 0.7mm line width produces writing that is clearly visible for tracing activities, but despite this, it is not so thick that letters become distorted when joined up. This helps children see what mistakes they have made and how to improve, whilst also allowing the ink to stand out on the page.

The ink itself will wash out of most fabrics and porous surfaces.

Plastic Nib
A hard-wearing plastic tip creates resistance on the page for improved control and letter formation. Plastic also offers greater durability than fibre tips, which is ideal for young children applying pressure as they write, and eliminates splaying for a longer life and improved accuracy.

Plastic nibs are also designed to generate reliable, smooth strokes every time, with ink flowing effortlessly onto the page. This is not only perfect for the handwriting method, but stops hands feeling tired and painful during long bouts of writing.

Cylindrical Body
As children may not have full control over their fine motor skills just yet, a cylindrical barrel is perfect for children learning to handwrite for the first time. Unlike triangular or hexagonal barrels, this pen allows the user to hold and control it in the way they find most natural, in turn helping them pick up skills quickly, easily, and with greater comfort.
