The YPO Premium Handwriting Pen is designed specifically to help schoolchildren learn how to handwrite with ease and precision. As a premium YPO product, the pens feature a durable, tapered, medium plastic nib and smooth flowing water-based ink like their leading brand counterparts, but without the pricetag. With a 0.6mm line width, children will be able to effortlessly create neat and legible joined up text with YPO Premium Handwriting Pens.

Fine to Medium Line Width
With a fine to medium line width of 0.6mm, YPO Premium Handwriting Pens carefully balance clarity with fine precision. Each pen produces writing that is clearly visible for readability, but despite this, it is not so thick that letters become distorted when joined up. This helps children see what mistakes they have made and how to improve, whilst also allowing the ink to stand out on the page.

Plastic Tip
Each of these pens features a tapered, medium plastic tip, designed to generate reliable, smooth strokes every time, with ink flowing effortlessly onto the page. This is not only perfect for the handwriting method, but stops hands feeling tired and painful during long bouts of writing. The tough plastic will also create resistance on the page for improved control and letter formation.

Plastic tips offer greater durability than fibre tips, making them ideal for young children applying pressure as they write, and eliminating splaying for a longer life and improved accuracy. Also unlike fibre tips, plastic will write at any angle so children can hold the pen in their preferred style and still achieve high quality results.

Water-based Ink

Compared to alternative ink types, water-based ink is non-toxic for maximum safety to children, odourless for comfortable long-term use, and lightfast for lasting results. As this type of ink deeply penetrates the paper, the colour will appear bolder and more vivid, ensuring writing stands out when filling in blanks and completing worksheets.
