The Fellowes Powershred® LX220 is a clever shredder delivering maximum performance and uninterrupted high volume shredding.

The LX220 is equipped with Fellowes’ IntelliBar on the lid which uses responsive technology to manage a smooth operation and minimise interruptions. The IntelliBar alerts when the bin is approaching full, displays an efficiency meter, and controls the shredding flow to provide a 100% jam proof performance.

Highly secure mini cut shredding creates P-4 DIN level pieces, that reduce an A4 piece of paper to over 1000 particles - 3 times smaller than cross cut machines. Shredding paper, staples, paper clips, and even credit cards, you can be safe in the knowledge that redundant household bills, private documents and old bank cards are destroyed permanently.

Its extended 30 minute continuous run time makes it suitable for heavy use. Sleep mode saves energy, making the shredder dormant after 15 minutes of inactivity. The huge 30 litre bin reduces the need for excessive emptying and pulls out of the unit for simple maintenance. Its viewing window allows an instant appraisal of the contents, minimising the risk of paper jams due to overfilling. Fitted with 4 castors, the shredder can be wheeled around the workspace easily to where it’s needed the most.

With safety in mind, this shredder is equipped with Fellowes’ patented SafeSense technology, which stops shredding automatically if a hand touches the paper entry. This is particularly useful at home where children could come into contact with the machine.

This robust shredder carries a manufacturer’s warranty of 2 years for the machine and 7 years for the cutter.
