These Eco-Friendly Noticeboards are not only fantastic for the planet, but look beautiful too with a convincing light oak effect frame. The frame and Eco-Colour® core are made from recycled plastic bottles and timber industry by-products, and in combination with fire retardancy, noise reducing properties and 11 beautiful colours to choose from, it is no wonder this range is a bestseller.

Eco Friendly Construction
These noticeboards are made from 100% recycled material, including both the light oak effect frame and Eco-Colour® core. The frame is constructed entirely from timber industry by-products - in turn preventing unnecessary waste – whilst the Eco-Colour® core is made from recycled plastic bottles, with the standard 900 x 1200 size using 33 x 250ml bottles in total!

Despite being eco-friendly in construction, the design is still both high quality and attractive. For example, the frame is 35mm thick and contoured for authenticity, simultaneously offering durability and an aesthetically pleasing natural look. The highlight however is the Eco-Colour® board, which has many other surprising practical benefits.

Eco-Colour® Board
Eco-Colour® Boards are not only eco-friendly, but sturdy and durable for reliability too. Despite this, the material is lightweight for quick and easy installation.

Due to the absence of cloth, Eco-Colour® noticeboards will only accept pins, and not hook and loop. However, by eliminating cloth, the board is much better for the planet, and suitable for sensitive public areas such as corridors, stairways and entrances where cloth would get damaged easily. Eco-Colour® also has acoustic properties to reduce noise in busy environments up to NRC 0.8 – again making them ideal in public areas, as well as schools and offices.

As part of the Resist-A-Flame® range, each Eco-Colour® noticeboard has been fully tested and classified to the European ‘Reaction to Fire’ test for your safety and peace of mind, with the core complying with EN13501-1 Class B for Fire Retardancy.

Frame
Frames protect both the board and the people around it, preventing scuffs to the edges and corners, as well as rounding out sharp corners that may be an injury risk to children. Because of this, the board is safer and long lasting than alternatives, and so is suitable for use in areas with high traffic, high chance of contact, and in the presence of children.

Aesthetically, the frame also provides a nice, professional looking finish and helps hide any messy edges where material may come away after a long period of use.

Versatile
A noticeboard is an essential in any educational or professional environment where students, staff and visitors can be shown announcements, advertisements, updates, health and safety information and other useful messages. Due to this versatility, it is important for the noticeboard design to reflect this too.

Each noticeboard can be mounted either horizontally or vertically based on preference and available wall space. Fixings are supplied and concealed underneath the frame, which not only looks professional and adds a finished look to the boards, but prevents tampering and protects people from injuring themselves on exposed fixings.
