These exterior showcases are a heavy-duty alternative to tamperproof noticeboards, specially designed for outdoor use. Satisfying the stringent IP55 standard for protection against dust and moisture ingress, these showcases are perfect for use outside community centres, educational establishments, and on the sides of restaurants and cafes to safely display a variety of important materials. These particular showcases are illuminated to ensure the general public – including potential customers – are drawn in and able to view your notices at all times of day.

Quality Surface
The noticeboard surface is made from loop nylon felt cloth that accepts pins and hook & loop to affix various A4 posters, flyers, printouts and more. Loop nylon felt is stronger than other noticeboard materials, with the ability to hold hook & loop and heavier items without tearing or losing grip. On the other hand, a cork surface is also available, which accepts pins only, but is far more eco-friendly in excluding nylon, and has a refreshingly natural aesthetic. If you only plan on using pins, cork is the choice for you.

Due to its size, this particular showcase allows you to neatly display 4 x A4 sheets in landscape orientation with minimal gaps.

Illuminated
This showcase has LED lights fitted internally at the top of the unit to effectively illuminate your notices - even on those dark winter afternoons. As it is mains powered with a transformer 3-pin plug, the white light is highly reliable and maintenance-free so your showcase can easily draw attention and enhance readability whenever it is required.

Shield Protection
Covering the noticeboard surface is a thick 3mm PET Shield® cover that will provide total protection against tampering and the outside elements. The PET covers are securely retained with full length glazing bars, making them heavy duty for long term use and reliability. PET material is also easy to clean, hard to scratch, lightweight, and shatterproof, making it a convenient and safe alternative to glass that saves you money without sacrificing transparency. Surrounding the PET is a satin aluminium frame, combining durability, easy-cleaning and low maintenance.

Weatherproof
Due to the way the framework is finished and sealed, the showcase is weatherproof for use outdoors, with even the heaviest rain and snow having no impact to its contents. The showcase has been independently tested for dust and water ingress, satisfying the stringent IP55 requirements of EN60529. Because of this, the Shield® Exterior Showcase has become the market leading wall mounted showcase, and is extremely reliable for long term use.

Single Lockable Door
In the interest of security, the door of the Shield® Exterior Showcase locks firmly in in place with two keyed locks to prevent interference and tampering - so you can rest assured knowing your notices will stay put overnight. The door is also top hinged with support stays to keep it in place whilst you load materials safely and easily.

For a more attractive and professional appearance – and to prevent additional tampering – the door conceals the corner fixings and the quality heavy-duty hinges, which make for a smooth opening and easy access to the noticeboard surface whilst keeping the door firmly aligned.
