The hard-wearing 25 Series stacking stool is a great value seating solution that preserves the traditional look in a classroom or laboratory. The tall design is perfect for music rooms, science labs, or art classrooms, and without the restrictions caused by a rear shell, students of all shapes and sizes will be able to position themselves to their preference throughout the typical long hours of creative work. Maximise comfort and productivity for all with this stool – without breaking the bank.

Design
Each stool has a 570mm seat height, making them ideal for Key Stage 2, and are specifically designed for music, IT science, arts, crafts and design and technology classrooms where high seating is the norm. As such subjects can invite hours of seated work, stools help offer a flexible seating position and leg extension that helps students focus on their work rather than discomfort, and makes it easier to get up and down without causing disruption. When using a table with a height of around 800mm, these stools will provide optimal comfort and posture to prevent students from straining or hunching over whilst they work.

Compared to a high chair, wooden stools offer a much more natural and traditional aesthetic to set the tone of the room, whilst ensuring maximum durability in messy and relatively uncontrollable environments. Without a shell to lean back on, these stools provide maximum safety, increase productivity, and optimise space by stacking or fitting neatly under tables. These particular stools can be stacked in sets of 6 - and safely and easily so with the hand hole and frame handles incorporated into the design.

Safety is additionally reinforced with the angled legs that reduce the risk of falling, allowing students to work at height with confidence. There is also a foot rest on the frame to reduce pressure on the spine and reduce fatigue of the hip flexors for longer bouts of pain-free productivity.

Construction
Each of these stools is constructed using extra thick 25mm MDF for high durability, and stability under heavy weight over long periods of time. There is a polished finish to prevent splinters or damage to clothing, whilst also protecting the wood itself against spillages or scratches. In practical environments where such damage is likely, this is extremely important. Compared to plastic based alternatives, MDF is also much better for the planet, not to mention cheaper despite an identical 5 year guarantee.

The frame also provides durability with its robust crushed bent steel construction, which comprehensively supports the seat to prevent it becoming loose or cracked with unequal weight distribution. This has been finished with light speckled grey Duraform paint to provide unbeatable resistance against scratching and chipping. Again, in a demanding practical environment, this is vital to keep your stools looking good as new.
