The straight cantilever desk is a classic office staple perfect for a no-nonsense computer workstation. As part of our value desking range, these desks are an entry-level design that refuses to go out of style - made to meet your requirements for functionality and style, as well as budget. Featuring a modesty panel, cable access ports, ultra-thick durable surface and height-levelling feet, this desk is as impressive in quality as it is in price.

Classic Design
With a straight-edge, classic design, the desks can be configured much more freely than radial or wave style alternatives, allowing you to place desks back-to-back or side-by-side depending on preference, available space, or the type of work taking place. This is especially useful in offices or classrooms where layouts may need to change over time, and also saves money compared to ergonomic alternatives for those on a budget.

Single Cantilever Leg Frame
Designed with a single upright cantilever leg frame, the desk stands sturdy and well-supported for regular 9-5 desk work. The sleek and practical cantilever leg style offers greater freedom of movement for your legs, and creates space underneath the desk for a pedestal, bags, or other important items. The single leg design helps saves money compared to double leg alternatives, where the safety and stability of a single leg design are enough in the average workplaces.

The frame is fully welded for additional strength and stability, and keeps the frame intact with the work surface when furniture is frequently rearranged. The long horizontal legs of the frame prevent it from becoming unbalanced or falling over, and evenly distribute the weight of anything on the desktop. The feet levellers underneath the legs are fully adjustable to ensure your desk is set up straight and won’t wobble while you work, even on uneven floors and carpets!

Cable Access Ports
Wires also stay well-hidden and out of the way with the two cable access ports, both improving appearance and reducing the stress of an untidy workspace. Having one port at either side allows you to use multiple electronic devices - with freedom to place them at either side you prefer - and will massively save desk space by compactly directing wires underneath the table. Wires will also be kept safe from accidental pulling or intentional tampering, and keep inexperienced office employees from trying to fix IT issues themselves.

Modesty Panel
With an 18 mm melamine faced chipboard (MFC) modesty panel at the back, teachers, office workers and receptionists will also feel far more comfortable as they work around others, and better able to focus on what they are doing as a result. The panel will additionally establish a personal space barrier and designate leg room when desks are placed back-to-back, and hide any clutter from the rest of the office.
