For an inexpensive, disposable solution for short term use, look no further than vinyl gloves. With a contamination-limiting powder-free finish, these particular soft vinyl gloves make the ideal choice for the majority of industries – and particularly for businesses seeking basic function without breaking the bank. Use these gloves for low-risk tasks where long-term durability is not required.

Why Vinyl?
Many industries require the use of gloves solely for staff protection and hygiene purposes, rather than any specialist, high-risk requirements. For this reason, more expensive alternatives such as latex or nitrile gloves are not always suitable, and are a shame to waste for short term tasks when they have such specialist properties - this is where inexpensive yet effective vinyl gloves come in. Vinyl gloves also make a great alternative for staff with latex allergies, and prevent any latex particles being transmitted to customers.

These particular gloves feature a beaded cuff for added strength and easy wear. The soft, smooth formulation improves feel and fit to reduce fatigue whilst in use.

Uses
Vinyl are the most popular in food serving and preparation. By using and frequently changing vinyl gloves, staff will not only prevent contamination of dirty hands where washing is not always practical, but also prevent contamination of food where allergy risk is present. As changing gloves would need to occur after every customer or task, these inexpensive vinyl gloves make the perfect choice.

Vinyl gloves are also used for protection against non-hazardous substances such as oil or emulsion for painting and decorating or automotive tasks. They will not chafe whilst completing such activities and provide adequate flexibility for you to move your hands freely.

Please do not use these gloves with hazardous substances or for medical purposes (with the exception of non-aseptic procedures or those with low risk of blood contamination). They will not protect against chemicals, bacteria or viruses in the same way as latex or nitrile gloves, and are more likely to slit or puncture with long term use.

Why Powder-Free?
A more obvious benefit of powder-free gloves is the lack of mess on skin and clothing when removing gloves, which helps employees look more professional whilst they work. Less obvious but perhaps more important are the practical benefits. Although powdered gloves are easier to remove, there is risk of contamination when the powder particles are released into the air. This can cause contamination with taste in food preparation, appearance in painting and decorating, and even function when sealing glass to install a windshield.

Please consider your industry when choosing gloves; with short term use where hands are unlikely to become sweaty, powder-free are always the best option to be on the safe side.

These gloves are tested to BS EN 455 and BS EN 374:2016 Type B. Internationally tested for chemical residue.
