With a contamination-limiting powder-free finish, these particular gloves make the ideal choice for the majority of industries – particularly those where staff, customer or patient safety is paramount. Use these gloves where comfort and durability are required and disposable gloves must be used.

Why Hybrid?
These gloves are made from a combination of vinyl and nitrile to make them more comfortable to wear, versatile to use, and safer for those with latex allergies thanks to their latex free design.

Nitrile gloves are waterproof, greaseproof, oil proof and chemical resistant, whilst also protecting against viruses. They are also highly tear and puncture resistant and therefore extremely durable. On the other hand, vinyl gloves are more comfortable and can save money in comparison to nitrile gloves where gloves may need to be disposed of regularly, and standard vinyl gloves are not durable enough.

By combining the two materials, the wearer achieves a superior fit, improved dexterity, touch sensitivity and comfort, making them suitable for a wide range of applications.

Uses
Hybrid vinyl nitrile gloves help reduce cross contamination, and protect the wearer against chemicals, viruses and bodily fluids and much more. Because of the combined benefits of the two materials, hybrid gloves are recommended in the medical, food, automotive, veterinary, and cleaning sectors, as well as any others where the user needs to be protected, including hairdressing, tattooing, piercing, dentistry, and painting and decorating. These gloves are food safe.

Why Powder-Free?
With powder-free gloves, there is risk of contamination when the powder particles are released into the air or onto skin and clothes. This is a risk to the patient as well as medical equipment in the vicinity, so powder-free gloves are highly recommended in such settings. In other areas such as food preparation, painting and decorating or automotive work, contamination is also a risk, and powder-free gloves should be used here too. As powder-free gloves can be difficult to remove after long periods where sweating may occur, they are recommended for short-term use where gloves are changed often.

These gloves are tested to BS EN 455 and BS EN 374:2016 Type C.
