Scola Colour Clay is a top-quality clay that stays soft and malleable yet always retains its shape, making it perfect for professional Claymation right down to classroom use by beginners. This bumper box of 240mm long 500g bars offers a range of popular colours to get started, and proves a worthwhile investment balancing both impeccable quality and a careful budget.

Never Dries Out
Unlike alternative water-based clays, Scola Colour Clay is the closest thing to branded Plasticine™ in its properties, but without the cost. Its formulation never dries out – usually a common problem in classrooms – ensuring you can use it again and again. It instead stays soft and malleable to be permanently reworkable, making it highly useful in classrooms, for animation projects, or for simply improving your creative skills.

Although malleable, Scola Colour Clay always retains its shape so there is lesser need for wires or similar bases to keep it in place!

Versatile
This tremendously versatile modelling material can be used by children for making models large and small, budding artists, stop motion animators, sculptors and serious modellers alike! It can also be used got moulds to produce plaster casts – the possibilities are as wide as your imagination with Colour Clay.

Its non-drying properties make it particularly ideal for Claymation that requires constant remodelling over long periods, as well as freehand modelling, realistic sculpting, mask-making, mould-making and special effects. For general classroom use, non-hardening clay is also vital where resources need to be reused time and time again to save money.

You can create with Colour Clay by hand, with moulds or with the assistance of modelling tools to achieve the preferred design, texture or pattern with high accuracy.
