This set of 30 Tactile Robin craft kits ensures you have everything you need for a complete educational Christmas-themed experience! With simple instructions and minimal preparation, children of all ages* and abilities will love this unique way of crafting that teaches adaptable skills for life.

Each kit comes with blank pre-cut robin shapes made from high quality card that can be decorated with pen, stickers, felt or other bits and bobs. There are printed faces, hats and boots to cut out, stick on and colour in to give your robin a personality; then, with the assorted fabric strips provided, children can choose their favourite designs to thread through the pre-cut holes in the Robin’s torso, and tie in place for beautiful, tactile decoration to take home. Why not get children to bring fabric or ribbon of their own for a more unique robin? Finished decorations can be mounted to a wall, stood up in display area, or used as an alternative greetings card – the possibilities are endless.

Learning to thread and tie knots are skills that children will likely use for the rest of their lives, and learning is especially effective when done in a fun and rewarding way. Crafting in this way also encourages fine motor skills and an increase in confidence, with the pre-cut holes ensuring less mistakes and a greater focus on fun.

In this classpack, there are enough materials for 30 children, including 30 robins of assorted brown shades; various face, crown/hat and boot designs; strips of fabric with assorted patterns including sequin, textured and plain; and a leaflet with instructions and ideas for inspiration.

Each robin measures 210mm. Fabric is pre-cut for threading and tying as shown.
