Alison Goodwin - Public Sector Practice Leader at Aon

Alison has worked in the public sector insurance industry for 30 years, working for both local authorities and in the private sector. Alison currently leads Aon’s Public Sector Practice, providing insurance and risk solutions to local and central government, education, healthcare and emergency services.


Simon Loughran - Business Development Executive Education Division at Towergate

Simon is an insurance specialist in the education, charities and public sectors with over 35 years’ experience in various roles with national brokers. He has project managed new initiatives including negotiating policy wordings, premium rating, marketing, conferences, sales support and IT issues. 
New business development and client servicing have also featured strongly together with training and supporting a team to ensure UK expertise and coverage.
His sector experience includes procurement for the public sector, independent schools, academies and MAT’s, further education colleges, higher education/universities, charities and not for profit organisations.


Alex Ross - Account Director at Willis 

Alex has over 13 years’ experience in the insurance industry and joined Willis in 2012.
Prior to joining Willis, Alex has worked for commercial insurance brokers in the United Kingdom dealing with a wide selection of clients, ranging from construction firms in the private sector to educational establishments.
He has responsibility for the design, placement and management of a number of accounts in the public sector including central government departments, local authorities, the NHS, education and a range of other public sector organisations including Trading Funds, Executive Agencies and NDPBs.
Alex possesses insurance tender experience via government frameworks and OJEU for Public Sector clients.


Chris Sullivan - Account Director at Willis

Chris has been in the insurance industry for over 30 years, joining Willis in 2010 after gaining experience in underwriting with large composite insurers and insurance broking with local and national insurance brokers. During his time with Willis he has carried out a range of client service and technical insurance delivery functions.
Chris provides insurance due diligence and insurance support servicing role to governmental and public entity clients. This encompasses all areas of insurance, risk transfer, loss and risk management advice. Chris has detailed knowledge of treatment of insurance in procurement scenarios to the design, placement and administration of insurance and risk transfer programmes.
