Time: 11:00 GMT
Date: Thursday 27 April 2021
The COVID-19 pandemic continues to dramatically impact the UK’s public sector organisations. As we all know this public health crisis has seen the introduction of unprecedented measures designed to prevent the spread of the virus. Inevitably, such measures have had a huge effect on the day-to-day delivery of public services, presenting the public sector with significant challenges. Now more than ever before, organisations rely on digital technology to be able to provide continuous service delivery, in a time where demand has – in some areas – drastically increased.
Together with a representative from iGov, speakers: Gavin Rimmington, Head of Public Sector at YPO, Henry Lee, Technical Director at Consultancy+ and James Bridgland, Consulting & Solutions Director at Consultancy+ will explore the findings of the recent ‘Impact of COVID-19 on Digital Strategies in the Public Sector 2020/21’ research report – a full pre-embargo copy of which will be available to take away during the session.
Carried out by the team at iGov Survey from November 2020-January this year this research saw responses from 141 public sector organisations respond to questions about the ways they have been able to respond effectively and successfully to the crisis. The report’s unique findings make reference to:
- The rapid re-prioritisation of digital strategies

- Welcome & Housekeeping
- The findings of the impact of COVID-19 on Digital Strategies in the Public Sector 2020/2021 survey
