Why not join many organisations across the world today in celebrating Thank Your Cleaner Day 2018!
What is Thank Your Cleaner day?
Thank Your Cleaner Day is a special day, happening once a year and is dedicated to all cleaners. It has an emphasis on encouraging the acknowledgement of our hard-working cleaning staff through a simple recognition and thank-you of their commitment to keeping our living, working and premise environments safe. Karcher, partnered with Cleaning and Support Services Association (CSSA) and other cleaning industry associations are at the forefront of spreading the word – making sure cleaning staff are universally recognised on this day.
Who thought of it?
2015 saw the introduction of a national campaign originally started to combat the negative portrayal of the New Zealand cleaning industry in the media. This campaign has since gained global support from countries such as the UK, USA, Canada, Australia and Spain - who in 2017 celebrated this day for the first time. Fast forward another year to 2018 and Thank Your Cleaner Day is constantly growing - now with 11 countries across the globe taking part. This all-important day in the cleaning calendar is becoming higher on the agenda for many businesses to take part in recognising the often-overlooked work, the unsung heroes of our offices carry out every day.
How can I get involved?
Company premises around the world that are cleaned and maintained by cleaning contractors will be supporting Thank Your Cleaner Day. Why don’t you join them in taking the opportunity to thanks the cleaners who are cleaning your premises.
