Back to school

With September in the not too distant future you might be wondering what you can do to prepare. Lucky for you we’ve compiled our seven top tips to be ready for back to school.

  1. Receive deliveries during the summer holidays

Being open to accept deliveries during the summer holidays is a great way to reduce the stress of worrying if all your resources will arrive in time for the new term. To arrange delivery during the holidays, please email the dates that work for you and your contact details to [email protected]. Alternatively, you can fill in our holiday form on our website by logging in and going to your account > your details > holiday deliveries form.

  2. Freshen things up

Summer is the ideal time to freshen things when pupils aren’t around. Whether the grass in your school grounds needs a cut or certain areas require a much-needed lick of paint our summer maintenance offers should help you out.

  3. Get ready for a new year of school meals

The most important time of any day is of course, lunch. That said, you’ll probably want to review all your catering equipment now to ensure you have everything you need for September. Whether you need tableware, crockery, utensils, dining furniture, kitchen equipment or uniforms, our extensive range of catering products will help remove the hassle.

  4. Have a summer clean-up

Schools can sometimes get messy. You need to make sure your school sparkles so that work can be continued as normal in September. To help we have got some summer clean savings.

  5. Make savings on essentials

To be ready for the new school year ahead you need to have your essentials. Saving money on your essentials can help to free up your budget to spend on other items that help you run your school. We have got some fantastic discounts on branded stationery essentials in our end of term promotion. Be sure to snap up these offers as they end on 31 July.

  6. Look at your furniture requirements

Staff and students spend a lot of time in school buildings. Having nice surroundings to work in will help to improve motivation and willingness to learn. We know how precious your time is which is why we have an express delivery range.

  7. Manage your energy consumption

Reducing the amount of energy you consume saves money, reduces carbon emissions and can have a positive impact on your school’s reputation. These things are important- especially in summer, when no one’s around. YPO’s Category Manager for Energy, Adam Throup, has provided you with eight simple energy (and money) saving tips for managing your usage and bills.
