Don't panic spend or lose what you have left! Here's five wise ways to spend any remaining budget you have before financial yearend.
1. Stock up on the essentials
Why not use your spare budget to stock up on the essential items you regularly use? These might be things like pens, copier paper and lever arch files. Perhaps you’re down to your last pack of sticky notes or could take the opportunity to stock up on some more glue sticks?
2. Furnish your surroundings
New furnishings can often be seen as an unaffordable luxury, but if you do have leftover budget it’s a smart option. New, quality furniture can be an investment that will last for years. It’s a chance to freshen up your surroundings and improve comfort, leading to improvements in productivity and morale. It also creates a great impression with any visitors!
3. Invest in technology
As we all know, technology is an increasingly important part of our lives. It is always changing and improving, so it can be hard to keep up or have all the IT products you’d like. Which is why if you’ve money to spare, it could be the perfect chance to upgrade.
4. Get ready for spring and summer
The temperatures are getting higher, the days lighter for longer, and before we know it, spring and summer will be here! Why not get ahead of the game and put your spare budget towards some new sports equipment or outdoor resources?
5. Scout out a special offer
With budget cuts and the pressure to get more for your money, you could make the most of a price promotion and grab yourself a bargain!
