Covid-19 and Qualified Social Care

This is a report provided by Comensura, one of our suppliers on this framework, to provide an update on social care during the pandemic. Social care is one such sector that has had to adapt rapidly to the changing demand and needs of the people and communities they serve. They spoke with three qualified social work recruitment specialists - Sanctuary Personnel, Liquid Personnel and Tripod Partners, and asked them how demand for social workers has been impacted over the last 12 weeks, what’s changed and their expectations for the future. With the everchanging current demands, the benefit of sharing knowledge across this sector is vital. Comensura will be returning to ask the views of the panel again in September.

Where ever possible we are advising customers that they should try to utilise their current recruitment contracts, if you have an MSP in place you should try to utilise them as your first port of call. During the next few weeks though we do anticipate that not all MSP’s will be able to deliver all roles, so we have developed a document covering all of our framework options for procuring:
