Crematoria Solutions
The Solution provides customers with access to primary service providers that are able to provide design, supply, installation and commissioning of cremators, including but not limited to refurbishment or refit works, minor building works, ongoing maintenance, removal and disposal of existing equipment and ancillary products and services
The refurbishment or refit of the crematoria is in line with UK legislation relating to reduction of mercury emissions and Local Authorities duty to support sustainability, reduce carbon emission and energy consumption.

  • YPO can fully manage the customers further competition (call-off) process if required.

     

  • Reduced timescales – customers do not need to run a full OJEU procurement if procuring via the framework agreement.

 

  • Assured supplier standards – suppliers/providers are ‘pre-qualified’ as to their general suitability.

 

  • Aggregation of spend - customers will receive the benefits of the aggregated spend volume and increased leverage in the market.

 

  • Pre-defined terms and conditions – when awarding contracts customers have the option to use YPO’s standard framework agreement terms and conditions as established or use their own terms and conditions. 


  • Lot 1 - Supply and installation of crematoria equipment
    Including refurbishments refit, training, ongoing maintenance, spare parts, removal and disposal of existing equipment

  • Lot 2 - Maintenance of crematoria equipment
    The provider(s) will provide a range of maintenance and servicing arrangements to meet the needs of the customers. The types of maintenance and servicing arrangements typically requested include but are not limited to; all-inclusive comprehensive cover, planned preventative maintenance cover, parts and labour cover, breakdown and emergency cover. The minimum period of maintenance arrangemetns which provider(s) must be able to offer are 3, 5, 7, 10 and 15 year arrangements.
