Community Services Team and Procurement Team - Allerdale Council

The procurement process was efficient and our experience of using the YPO Framework 551 - Lot 1 and Lot 2 - Plastic Wheeled Bins and Distribution was effective and well organised. We found it easy to use and the assistance and category knowledge provided by YPO was excellent.

Pete Leggett, Senior Environmental Contracts Officer - Broadland District Council

Broadland Council have participated in the YPO framework for many years.  We have a great working relationship with our YPO Business Manager.  She provides excellent customer service in the form of running ‘mini completions’ on our behalf.  This takes all the effort out of the procurement process. We simply send her the specification of our requirements together with required delivery date and she does all the rest; contacting suppliers for quotes, evaluating bids, recommending the best value supplier and communicating the outcome of the procurement to all parties. Simple!

John Beckett, Area Manager - Kirklees Council

We have used YPO to source and procure the Council’s supply of wheeled bins for over ten years, by using their expertise,  detailed framework agreements and their network of suppliers and contacts. We are always assured of the most competitive prices, quality products available on the current market, it saves us valuable time as they handle the entree tender process on our behalf most professionally and efficiently.  Top job, top people.

Sharon Williams, Procurement Analyst - Plymouth City Council

I would like to say how easy the YPO waste framework was to use.  I was allocated a contact in charge of that framework – in this case (Helen Wardman) who talked me through every step, liaised with the suppliers and did all the paperwork on my behalf.  All I had to do was provide a specification, she would send any questions to me and relay them back to the suppliers.  The bids were evaluated by YPO and the most economically advantageous tender awarded on the go ahead from us.

Phil Tomlin, Waste Management Officer - Wigan Council

YPO have helped Wigan Council with the purchase of caddy liners and wheeled bins. They are professional and knowledgeable in their dealings with council officers and always ensure that value for money is obtained. I would have no hesitation in recommending their services to others’.
