Barbara Hunter is a highly experienced and independent education trainer consultant. She has over 40 years’ experience working with children and young people who have challenges and talents. Her background as a teacher, deputy head teacher and director ofoutreach and inclusion has equipped her with the skills and knowledge needed in today’s unpredictable education arena.Barbara has trained schools, organisations, universities, local authorities and workplaces throughout the UK and abroad and has writtenarticles in many professional journals.She has been a trustee and vice chair of the Dyspraxia Foundation for many years. She now works predominantly within the education sector advising and training in a wide range of subjects relating to special needs (SEN legislation, DDA, reasonable adjustments, specific conditions, inclusion, differentiation). Her current consultancy role is enabling schools to meet the new SEN legislation.
