Leadership Lenses

Course Details

Are you looking for a completely new way to evaluate your school’s effectiveness? Ofsted does not require self-evaluation to be provided in a specific format. Any assessment that is provided should be part of the school’s business processes and not generated solely for inspection purposes.’ Ofsted Framework 2016

Leadership lenses is a fantastic new approach to self-evaluation that gives you a refreshing and rigorous way to amplify the positive aspects of your school and identify ways to improve.

Chris has worked with thousands of schools worldwide over a fourteen-year period helping them to reflect upon and amplify their strengths and understanding of how to develop. Over this time, he has developed a series of ‘lenses’ allowing leaders and governors to gain valuable insight into the effectiveness of provision. The ‘lenses’ system is a million miles away from the judgemental system of grades used by Ofsted, which amounts to little more than a mark out of 4. Instead, it takes a positive approach whereby all staff are involved in identifying effective practice and developmental needs.

This one-day course will introduce you to the lenses, give you examples of the self-evaluation strategies that you may undertake and provide examples of a refreshing self-evaluation document...
