Course Details

This course will help your school create calmer, healthier dining halls and active, happier, more constructive playtimes and playgrounds. Explore tried and tested ideas which can immediately be put into practice to help with problematic lunchtimes.

Lunchtime staff have such an important role to play in the smooth running of a school and can have a profound effect on individual children’s lives. By attending this course, senior managers will be able to put a whole school dining hall and lunchtimes policy in place – creating calm and happy lunchtimes.

Learning Outcomes:

•Empower lunchtime supervisors and teachers to share the same values and present a united front for children.
•Gain the knowledge to set up activity zones, ensuring all children’s needs are met.
•Support teachers and midday supervisors to use the right incentives wisely so that children can make good choices.
