Observing, Assessing and Mapping Children’s Progress Through the EYFS

EYFS/KS1

Course Details

This course is ideal for anyone looking to develop their professional skills in observing children, understanding their development and identifying their next steps. Keeping the focus on the child, we will look at how to make respectful, professionally informed judgements about children’s learning, development and progress.

On the day, Di will share with you her Observation and Assessment Toolkit as well as examples of learning stories and narrative observations. This will enable you to look more deeply at children’s development, thinking and learning.

Keep children at the centre of learning and take a holistic view of their development.
