Grade 9 – £30,507 to £32,878 per annum | Permanent | Full time 37 hours per week | Closing Date: 23 April 2019

An opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager to join the Furniture Design Team.

The post holder will report to the Design Unit Manager and key duties will include:

  • Managing design unit projects including large furniture installations (approx 1.5 million) and ensuring projects are completed within budgets and agreed timescales
  • Providing a solution for customers through design proposals (which will require an in-depth knowledge of CAD software including AutoCad, Revit and preferably 3DSMax)
  • Assisting with pre-contract meetings, project and handover meetings to ensure any problems encountered on site can be rectified immediately without compromising the project and deadline

  • Preparing quotations/scope of works, attending site meetings, working with M & E contractors, generating programmes of work, co-ordinating deliveries, snag contractors work and account management to provide a full project management service.

  • Generating new business opportunities in new and existing markets by acting on market intelligence, and the analysis of bespoke software.

It is essential that the post holder has full project management experience and a design background with excellent knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and preferably 3DSMax. In addition, the post holder should have excellent communication skills.
