Procurement Category Buyer – ICT Services

Grade 10 – £34,728 to £37,890 per annum | Full time 37 hours per week | Permanent | Closing Date: 09 January 2022.


Due to continued growth and additional internal promotion, the Public Sector Team at YPO has a vacancy for a Procurement Category Buyer in the following indirect service category:


ICT Services – including Hardware, Software, Networking and Cloud Services as well as Network solutions and Telecommunications.


The post holders will be joining a commercial organisation that is 100% owned by the Public Sector; we have the agility, empowerment, and flexibility to deliver whilst remaining true to the ethos of Public Service delivery. Our processes are lean designed to support delivery, not dictate outcomes.


Each day is different as the post holders will supporting customers with a wide range of procurement related activity (research, design, sourcing and management of frameworks and dynamic purchasing systems), managing suppliers, helping to develop junior members of the team and developing plans with marketing colleagues to support awareness, educational and thought leadership activity.


Sustainability is at the core of our offering, and we are keen to ensure that legislative requirements around Social Value are in place. Additionally, our commercial offerings need to support post pandemic recovery activities.
