Our range
With weekly supplies to around 3,500 customers from our dedicated food warehouse via our fleet of 30 vehicles, YPO has significant purchasing power allowing us to offer customers a comprehensive range of food products at highly competitive prices. With more than 300 dry good items, supported by a core range of chilled products, in addition to a wide range of cleaning and catering equipment, workwear and first aid supplies, YPO customers can enjoy the convenience of our one stop shop service.
The basics of school catering have changed dramatically since September 2006 with the introduction of new government guidelines on food. At YPO we worked closely with the both District Supply Officers and school kitchens to quickly tailor our range to allow schools to respond to their obligations.
YPO only stocks top quality branded food products giving customers the security and confidence associated with big brands. This quality, combined with our simple pricing structure, ensures customers know exactly what they are getting, time after time, and at the great prices for which YPO is famous.
Catering area design
YPO can also provide catering design and supply services for the school kitchen in addition to equipment to allow pupils to develop the practical skills associated with preparing and cooking food that they will need as they move into adulthood.
Our complete kitchen refurbishment service includes counters, food preparation areas, cooking suites, refrigeration plant, dishwashing, storage and front-of-house customer points, and we can offer an individually tailored solution which includes planning, design and installation.
New or upgraded school kitchen facilities where fresh produce can be prepared and served will be made a priority as the Government rebuilds and refurbishes every secondary school through its Building Schools for the Future programme. Our catering design package is based around our OJEU advertised contract which gives you the added reassurance that all tendering processes have been successfully completed.
